Lucknow Metro Train Information
Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation began its metro project in Lucknow in 2015. On December 1, 2016, the former Chief Minister Of Uttar Pradesh, AkhileshYadav with Samajwadi Party Supremo, Mulayam Singh Yadav inaugurated the 23 km long north-south corridor. The interesting thing about the metro trains in Lucknow is that it is the women authorities who took the first drive as loco-pilot. This is an awesome step towards the women empowerment.
The Present Status
Presently, the Lucknow Metro Railway Corporation has been bestowed with an international award of Royal Society For The Prevention Of Accidents’ (RoSPA) Award. It is the first ever Indian metro to bag this award. The actual award which LMRC has been given is ‘Silver Award’.
Initiatives By Present Prime Minister, Yogi Adityanath
Lucknow Metro has already completed one successful year, now Yogi Adityanath has come up with more schemes regarding the Metro system in the city. Last month, on the occasion of ‘Lucknow Metro Divas’ the CM said that the metro is the ‘Status Symbol’ of the city and he would be enhancing this railway system to connect more cities.
At contemporary times, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Lucknow in the state of Uttar Pradesh has metro connectivity. There is also a metro app for the Lucknow metro which will provide the commuters to recharge their GoSmart cards. The other facilities that this app will provide to the computer are helping the commuterso locate the nearest metro station. Het the information about trains, know the direction f the trains, metro fares and many more of the similar facilities. This app is now also integrated with ‘Chalo App; which is actually the government of India’s app. The proposed cities to get the first step in the metro development would be Meerut, Agra, and Kanpur, as told by the Chief Minister on ‘Metro Divas’.
